Natasha McShane and Stacy Jurich were both brutally attacked on Friday April 23, 2010, during a mugging in Bucktown. They were returning home from a night out celebrating a glowing review Stacey had received at work and an internship Natasha had received which would allow her to stay in the United States. The attack left both girls with extensive injuries, and they both have long roads to recovery ahead of them.
Blue Line Lounge and Grill, 1548 North Damen Chicago, Illinois is organizing a Pub Crawl scheduled for Sunday May 23, 2010 for Natasha McShane and Stacy Jurich. The fundraiser involves 11 different bars and begins at 2pm at Double Door. The Beer Nuts will play here at Double Door at 2pm to kick things off.
WHAT YOU NEED TO DO: You must purchase $15 wristbands for the event at Blue Line or any of the bars listed below.
HOW IT WORKS: The are 10 different colored wristbands. The reason for this is to stagger the pub crawl so that one large group doesn’t show up to one bar at once. A schematic has been created that shows where each color is supposed to be and at what time. For example, the Red Group starts at Blue Line at 3pm, at 3:45 they need to be at Pint, at 4:30 they need to be at Debonair Social Club etc. At 3pm the Blue group is at Silver Cloud, at 3:45 they are at Tavern etc. There are 10 different groups that will be staggered like this. You will get the schematic of events here at Double Door.
100% OF THE $15 WRISTBANDS WILL GO TO TO NATASHA AND STACY’S FUND. The wristbands get you discounted drinks at participating bars. For every special sold, $1 goes to funds established for both women. Finally, there will be donation jars at all bars in the event people would like to contribute more. Please do attend as these women have extensive bills from the attack and need our help.
