See a side of the Melvins you’ve never seen before, as they come to Double Door to challenge the staff in an intense Wiffleball match… before performing a blistering set of rock music.
Every player gets five swings per round as they try to accumulate homeruns, hit from in front of the stage towards our balcony. That’s the only way to score. No running, no fielding, just the mashing of homeruns. Each hitter chooses his/her pitcher. It’s a homerun derby.
The high profile Melvins come into the game with a high powered offense led by Buzz Osborne. They will have their hands full with Double Door’s behind the scene crew of Wiffleball rock stars.
Doors open at 6:30 only to the first 50 customers with tickets to the 8pm show ($25), tickets can also be purchased at that time. Beer, liquor and hotdogs will be available.
The Melvins recently cracked the Billboard Top 200 albums for the first time in their 26-year career by selling 2,809 copies of their latest album, The Bride Screamed Murder.
