Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but now also it’s in the eye of the voter. Women throughout Chicagoland are invited to create a profile and enter this first-of-its-kind pageant where the people will decide who gets crowned.
The pageant finals are tonight, July 12 right here at Double Door (1572 N. Milwaukee Ave). The ten finalists will compete over four categories: Introduction, Talent, Evening Gown, and Question & Answer. The evening will be hosted by emcee-comedian Coburn Flint, live music by The Jordan Years, and the three judge/commentators are Chicago hip hop legend Rhymefest, Jon Cotay (owner of Akira boutiques) and Leonor Vivanco (writer for RedEye). The people in the audience will be voting for who wins, but if you can’t attend the finals, you will still be able to watch through the live stream and vote.
When the doors open at 7pm catered food will be provided Club Fifty/50. Admission is $10, 21+, and the show starts at 8pm sharp.
