Coffinworm
Coffinworm
Coffinworm was formed under watchful eye of Choronzon in late 2007. The 'Great Bringer of Night' demo was recorded by Bob Fouts (Basement Rage Studios) in late 2008/early 2009 and led to an alliance with Profound Lore Records shortly afterwards. The 'When All Became None' full-length was recorded by Sanford Parker in December of 2009 within Semaphore Studios, Chicago, and released in April 2010. S
ummer 2010 saw a lineup change with J. joining the fold on drums and C. moving from behind the kit to guitar. The band is currently working on material that will comprise the second full-length release on Profound Lore Records.

COG
COG
COG is a Hybrid Metal Band, originating in the Chicago Metro Area. History: Pat and Steve originally met in 1992. Their first Band together was called Rapture, which also included Eric Bauer on Guitar (World of Shit, Morgue Supplier, Lord Blashpemer) as well as Tom Bestor on Vocals, Jaime Crane on Drums, and Originally with Nick Wengler on Guitars. Rapture Broke up in 1994, and the musicians went their own directions. Pat explored his musicianship in his solo project the Fitzcosmos, and Steve with his band Lost Dog. (Formerly known as The Idiot Police) On 9/11/2001, Pat and Steve, in a frenzy, believing that the world was about to end. (WW3 etc) decided it was time, to create the most brutal, and therapeutic, music ever to be created. With the idea of limited time, improvisation became the centerpiece of creative realization. COG Made 4 Albums: COG - 2002 COG - Blue Sky - 2003 COG - Seed of Life - 2003 COG - the Face of Evil - 2004 Then Pat had his crazy Chinese Love affair, and got married, and had a Kid. In 2006 Steve and Pat Reunited, and with the same passion and fire but with more focus. It was at this time that the material for "The Tail of the Red Room" (Cog's 5th release) was created. COG then began it's Chicago Tour, and along the way, picked up Tom Hendler (Uraemia), for live bass. COG - the Tail of the Red Room - 2007 in 2008, Cog Continued to Tour Chicago, and began working on and recording the material for "Life" (COG's 6th Release) During this time, Tom Hendler decided to Leave COG to pursue his own interests. Tom Played Bass on the track "Pyramid" only, while Steve once again, took up the rest of the bass duty's on the record. COG - Life - 2009 Currently, COG is still playing out in the Chicago area, in support of the "Life" album, and consists of Pat on guitar and vocals, and Steve on drums and vocals. ..
