Johnny Kilroy
Johnny Kilroy
The Johnny Kilroy point of view began as much music and visions begin in a basement. We grew in a melting pot of music from RnB and Hip Hop plus a live band and creativity that comes form genres of alternative rock and Soul era. We have carved out our style from melody emotion and wow factor infused with lyrics and purpose. We always hope to leave a crowd in aww and far from disappointed. So we focused our skills threw groups like fugees, outkast, tribe called quest, likin park plus artist like kanye, twista, ludicris, nas, and flavor of a Timbaland and many more. We grew in the midwest north of Chicago always doing shows displaying the singing and rapping abilities of Tantrum aka (T'challa) the metaphors of Mic B and the lyrics and song writing of Chem-1. Which is a blend that is fully understood once you hear it in person and audio track can only give so much. We have now elevated our abilities by adding a band to our performance so the crowd can really get the full experience of Johnny Kilroy who was earlier called Oblivious Mob. We have done many openings for major names like Talib Kweli, Nas, and Twista to name a few and with our broad view of music our music has been enjoyed by people who enjoy more than hip hop and Rnb.

Neak
Neak
If your father performed alongside Funk & Soul legends like James Brown & Sam Cooke, and your older sibling was deep into Hip-Hop production, chances are being a product of your environment meant only one thing…
Following the path his family set before him, Chicago-based Hip-Hop artist Neak draws vivid verbal portraits which find inspiration in the spirit of 1980’s Hip-Hop & U.S. culture. The “War on Drugs,” failing Reaganomics, and increasing violence within poverty stricken areas only strengthened the resolve of the then fledgling Hip-Hop movement, and it’s this concept of perseverance and reclamation that guides Neak’s artistry.

Since 2010, Neak has released two volumes in his ’84 mixtape series (8000 total downloads), both of which are hailed as “underground classic[s] with an electric/soulful feeling, and rooted in the core of hip-hop." Currently Neak is fresh off a release of his newest project "Neak Rock," a Pete Rock tribute album presented by DJBooth.Net, Fake Shore Drive, Refined Hype, Prefix Mag & YNotMyDream; which has currently reached over 50,000 downloads and counting! Recently fresh from releasing his #illRaps Series (featuring artists such as Slot-A, Pugs Atomz, Sincerely Yours, Mike Schpitz, etc.) Neak has currently released his latest album entitled, "Love Greater // The Prequel," with production from Slot-A, INTLMC, Rashid Hadee. This Album Features The ILLZ, MC ADAD, Rashid Hadee, Sincerely Yours, and more; which as presented/sponsored by DJBooth.Net, Earmilk, and Prefix Mag.

Naming Nas, Mos Def, Common, Lupe Fiasco, MF Doom, Elzhi, Jay-Z, etc. as his main lyrical influences, Neak preserves the aesthetics of real Hip-Hop; authenticity, originality, excellence all evoke a heartfelt emotion for listeners of his music. Neak is looking to tour in support of his "Love Greater // The Prequel" album; which is available for Download Now..

Anyone who has seen him live can pick up the influences of Jamie Foxx, Tank, Jagged Edge, R. Kelly and others throughout the entire experience. Dwane is a music lover at heart and with every lyric he writes, he wants to make sure it touches people, and allows people to take a glimpse into his world. His drive and dedication is unmatched. As a high school and college basketball player he is trained to be disciplined and to work hard for his goals. Music is no exception. So why do they call him D-Train? One could come up with many reasons. Take a listen to his music and find out for yourself.
Chandler London
Chandler London
As a Hip Hop artist representing the Pilsen neighborhood of Chicago, Chandler London is a passionate Emcee determined to share his vision with the world. With initial influences stemming from Ritchie Valens and the raw energy seen in DMX’s Ruff Ryders’ Anthem, Chandler has found new inspiration within acts such as Jay Z, Andre 3000, Ghostface Killah and Big Pun. His sound is rooted in authenticity
, being one who writes lyrics in his head opposed to the pen and pad; he’s meticulous in the construction of a song, which produces an honest and relatable dynamic to the music. Chandler’s rhymes channel insight from past and current experiences, while utilizing Synesthesia (the ability to see sound) in his creative process that helps him become closer to his music, saying he needs to, “Listen to the beat, the words are there, I’ve just got to find them.”

En route to recording a project alongside Stefan Ponce called ‘The Science of Sleep’, Chandler’s future plans is to find longevity in creating music, while exploring new avenues to showcase his talent and skills on the Mic.
