Perfect Kiss
Perfect Kiss
Captivating new wave revivalist band Perfect Kiss mold edgy sensuality with electric dance beats to create a sound not heard since The Cure, Depeche Mode and other 80’s heavy-hitters. Their cutting edge style instantly allowed them to share the stage with national names such as, VHS or Beta, Felix Da Housecat, Green Velvet, Major Lazer and White Mystery. Less than a year after their formation the group was playing North Coast Music Festival and multiple Lollapalooza after parties including the Hard Rock Hotel’s highly publicized event. Recently selected as one of the Top Bands in Chicago by Do312, Perfect Kiss has established themselves as one of the most respected artists in the scene.

Currently in the studio creating exciting new material for the waiting ears, Perfect Kiss will be releasing their first professional EP in the Spring of 2012. Each new track will preserve their distinctly recognizable sound yet reflect their ever-evolving talent that will further solidify their place in Chicago's scene and begin their journey to national rise.
Moon Furies
Moon Furies
Moon Furies. They're real. Moon Furies. They're electric. Moon Furies. They're dangerous.

They have tour experience Peter Bjorn and John and Chairlift. They've played SXSW. They've played CMJ. Twice. They've held residencies throughout New York City. They've played 100 shows in 100 days for cancer research. They've even received studio time from the shoe company, Converse.

The only thing Andy Kiel, Sammy Clark and Jim Wittmann (Moon Furies) haven't done is play on the Moon.

"With dark drums, the electric body and muted chords could be here just as easily be the soundtrack to the apocalypse." {Review of "La Cabeza"] - Rolling Stone

"Excellent Electro-Harmonies" - Spinner

"The band's addicting tunes are a surefire way to pack in your weekend dose of revelry with dancing and an electrifying show" - Huffington Post
Distant Cities
Distant Cities
Distant Cities was conceived when Jim King reached out to former bandmate Olivia Hickner after a Fever Ray inspired track wasn't a good fit for his other project, Killwave. Olivia loved the etheral track and began working on lyrics and vocal melodies, which would become Foul Fowl on the Walk Away EP. The two traded tracks over email for a year, occasionally getting together to record vocal tracks. Eventually the pair developed a short sets worth of original songs and booked some low key shows as a duo to hone their material. After playing at a DIY space and Lilly's Bar for the Chicago, I Love You festival, the duo refocused and spent the fall of 2012 finalizing mixes and recording vocals for a four song EP with Jamie Carter and Carterco Studios. Collin Jordan mastered the EP at the Boiler Room, helping to capture the dreamy, yet dark vibe the band was going for. Inspired primarily by European artists like the XX, Air, Robyn, The Knife, and M83, Distant Cities has a crisp, electronic sound countered by a gloomy prerogative. Determined to build a killer live sound the duo enlisted veteran drummer Brad Elliott (Futurebirds, White Violet, Spring Tigers, History of Pan!c) and looks forward to playing out extensively in 2013.
Glass Lux
Glass Lux
Glass Lux formed in October 2010 when producer/DJ Alfonso Mayen met vocalist Emily Morse through a facebook message. Known as "Le Fonz" around his hometown Chicago, Alfonso started playing and writing music at a young age, going on to play in various local bands such as Perfect Kiss and Blacklight Saints. Emily, a Chicago transplant from Okemos, MI, had fronted many bands in her hometown but was looking for something more electronic to showcase her unique vocal style. She reached out to Le Fonz, and the resulting project led to a slick dance-and-synth-heavy sound showcasing Le Fonz's catchy production and Emily's hauntingly mature voice. Currently working on their first release slated for 2012, Glass Lux has already gained attention as up and comers in Chicago's exciting electronic scene.
