Our Premium seats offer a comfortably unencumbered and panoramic view of our stage and club. The seats also provide immediate access to our main bar – no more waiting in line or fighting through crowds for a drink – along with a little extra TLC from our friendly bartenders.

To order a premium ticket online, simply click to buy tickets to any of our shows and select the option to reserve your seat. If you have already purchased a ticket to an upcoming show and want to upgrade to a Premium seat, just call our Box Office during regular business hours (11am – 6pm, Mon-Sat).

It’s the revenge of the nerds…Right here at Double Door. Check out the official press release on this unique event. Live music, DJs, Burlesque, comic books and toys? Sounds like a pretty kick-ass party to me.

Chicago-based podcast/website Nerd City will be hosting the official C2E2 after party, Saturday, April 17th @ renowned rock club, the Double Door. Working with famed indie publisher Top Shelf, Nerd City presents a music and event-filled night, including sets by DJ Ghengis Won, Major Taylor, burlesque troupe The Flaming Dames, and headlining band The Jai Alai Savant (fresh off their recent show with Ted Leo and the Pharmacists), to celebrate the first-ever C2E2 comic and pop culture expo @ Mccormick Place. Multiple giveaways will feature an assortment of Nerd prizes, including items from sponsors Chicago Comics and Piece Brewery, and local toy luminary Shawnimals will be releasing a new plush exclusive to the event.

The party will also feature Top Shelf’s Swedish Invasion, in celebration of their seven new comic releases from Swedish creators this year. With a chance to meet graphic novelists Mats Jonnson (HEY PRINCESS), Simon Gardenfors (THE 120 DAYS OF SIMON), Kolbeinn Karlsson (THE TROLL KING), and Top Shelf publisher Chris Staros, plus plenty of prizes, this will be an unrivaled opportunity to talk with, and learn about, these talented international creators just as their work hits stateside. Gardenfors, a well-known Swedish rapper, will also be featured in a special performance.

After three very awesome Soul Summit Dance Parties in January, February and March, we are pleased to announce that this monthly event is going to be happening on Wednesday April 14 and Thursday May 20. What is the Soul Summit Dance Party, you ask? Well it is Chicago’s Ambassadors of Soul: For April, we will have Supreme Court, Dave Mata, Duke Grip, Sloppy White with special guests East of Edens Soul Express. In May, we will have Supreme Court, Dave Mata, Duke Grip, Sloppy White with special guest Qualls (Sheer Magic Alumni. Expect to hear your favorite dusty soul jams, raw r&b tracks and retro funk odysseys at both shows. These parties get going right at 9pm and they go until the bar closes at 2am.
