A band known for its eclectic musical repertoire and their soulful delivery, Fly Phoenix are proving they are not your typical band. Founded in 2007 by Columbia College Chicago students, this band blends numerous genres almost flawlessly with every song they compose.

Each band member holds extensive experience in various musical formats – and in many cases that experience overlaps. These genres include, but are not limited to, the many variations of Rock, Soul, R&B, Blues, Jazz, Gospel, Funk, and Hip Hop. Much like their music, the band is ethnically, religiously, and culturally diverse.

To date, Fly Phoenix has managed to build a coalition of fans from many demographics, while retaining a strong core audience of college students.
